Top 5 Movies at the Box Office

by

Top 5 movies at the box office this past weekend:

1. Enchanted
2. Beowulf
3. This Christmas
4. Hitman
5. Awake

Enchanted is #1 for the second week in a row and I can definitely understand why. I went to go see it this weekend and it was so awesome! I’ll have to do an official review next time I post.

night_at_the_museum_dvd_box.jpgFor now, I’m doing an unofficial review of Night at the Museum, because the previous writer for this blog already did one and you can read it here. I just saw it yesterday, but I’ve been meaning to watch it since it came out. Everyone kept telling me how funny it was so I finally grabbed it last time I was at Blockbuster.

And they were right, it was a really cute movie. One of those movies that is entertaining for the whole family. I really like Ben Stiller, especially in this movie. He is so hilarious and just the way he says things cracks me up. And the story line was really unique too. What kid wouldn’t want to go to a museum and see everything come to life? It was just a really good, entertaining movie. I always love family type/kids movies because they are just fun and light hearted and usually don’t disappoint.

And, one of my favorites, Paul Rudd had a very small role in it which was a nice surprise. He always seems to be sneaking up in the movies I watch lately.

Overall, if you have kids and you haven’t seen this, you should definitely go out and rent it. Although this would also be a great movie to put on over the holidays that everyone would enjoy.

OK, so I am a HUGE fan of cop dramas for some reason. I don't really know what the attraction is but if there are cops, I'm there. So as soon as I saw the badge in the previews for this movie I knew [...]
